A call at the port of Piraeus has been added to the Adriatic service (ADS) operated by Arkas Line. The first call at the Greek port took place on 27 October 2015.

With the eastbound call at Piraeus, the service connects the Adriatic with Piraeus and Piraeus with East Mediterranean ports. Two vessels, each with a 1,022 teu capacity, are deployed on the 11 day sling between Koper, Venice, Ancona, Marport, Evyap, Piraeus, Beirut, Mersin, Alexandria, Misurata and Koper.

Arkas Line has a 115,437 teu-strong container fleet of 39 vessels, 32 of which belong to Arkas. The line was originally established as Emes Shipping and Transport in July 1996, and it was the first container shipping line to operate under the Turkish flag. As of 1 January 2010, the name was changed to Arkas Container Transport and it continues to provide services under that brand.
